Nouveau Riche is a French word for 'new rich' the term is usually used to describe a person that has attained huge amounts of wealth at the start of her or his generation. The term 'Nouveau Riche' is also used to describe a person who was part of a community with a low financial rank and has recently acquired a considerable amount of wealth.
