The web and the internet have revolutionized the way we look at the world. It has changed the way of communication- both personal and professional. There are many tools that enable people to connect with their counterparts all over the world. Some of them are known counterparts, while many of them are strangers.
The web also has become the way of checking the background of people, and products. Thus, everything is possible through the click of a mouse.
The trend of websites has been quite popular all over the world. But building websites requires an iota of technical knowledge about web development and designing. So this means that suppose if I were to have a website then I need to know the rules of web designing and web development very well, else have enough money to hire the professionals who could do it for me.
But interestingly, the origin and the revolutionary effect of web-logs, now popularly known as blogs, has made the internet accessible to anyone. The popularity of the internet has gained a new lease of life thanks to the development of blogs. If you want to make yourself heard to the world, then blogging is the easiest way to connect. Almost anyone – and this includes people who are uninitiated with the technical stuff- can have and maintain a blog. Another good news is that it is free.
In order to make the most of your blog, you need to know the purpose the blog will serve. You need to know the intention of your writings over the net. This is applicable to people who just want to have an online diary and to those who see blogging as a tool to accelerate their marketing strategy. Thus knowing the intention of your blog will help attract more people with the same attitude or requirements.
