The trend has just been evolving as more and more people across all industry genres are become acquainted with it. Unless you are blogging about your personal life, it is important for you to have a proper knowledge about what subject matter you will choose to blog about.

Blogging in its essential form was about general people talking of their day to day happenings at work, school or college. But today, blogging has become more or less a strategy when it comes to corporate blogging. Most of the prominent personalities maintain their blogs to connect to their fans and admirers.

In case if you are an amateur blogger, you must first identify the purpose of your blog. You must always choose the topic for blogging that interests you. Writing is an extensive exercise. You need to be passionate about what you are writing and that will encourage more people to flock to your blog. That is the only difference between your blogs and rest of the other blogs in the world.

You need to have a thorough knowledge about the topic or the subject matter that you choose to blog about. Web LOG is a journal kept on the Internet. This journal is often updated daily and contains all information that the person maintaining the BLOG (the blogger) wishes to share with the world.

Like an online dairy. This can be about and be used for anything at all, it can be used for news, reviews, products etc for a business, organisation etc. This is great as it helps the user stay in touch with the website with new and up to date information.

A BLOG is a publication of personal thoughts, experiences, and web links. It is updated frequently and is usually a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the web or in the media

A blog (short for "Web Log") is basically a journal or personal diary that is available on the web. Blogs are typically updated daily using content management software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain them.

Creating a blog (or web log) is not as difficult as one might think. Non-techie people will be pretty much confused when techie people talk about PHP, MySQL, FTP, PING, POST, etc. The non-techies will think we're talking about a new clothing brand or something

So, for the non-techies…I'll be giving you guys a simple step by step instructions on how to create a simple blog.

Step 1
Go to http://www.blogger.com and Click on 'CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW'

Step 2
Read all the instructions at the 'Create Account' page and follow all the instructions to the end. Don't rush. Take your own time and make sure you read and understand all the instructions given.

Step 3
Now, create a NEW POST in your blog and start writing. Once done, PUBLISH it.

Step 4
Pat yourself on the back and congratulate yourself. You are now a blogger !

Blogs will also allow you to embed relevant media and links although it is essentially the simplicity of a blog that is one of the main attractions. By now, you will no doubt be realising that blogging for commercial purposes is likely to consist of far more than simply creating your own blog. You will also be participating in threads on the blogs of other people. You may decide that adding a blog to your main site is appropriate in which case you will be relieved to know that the technical implementation is generally simple. There could be various reason of adding the Nofollow links to the posts. These are the links that instruct the search engines about not exploring a particular site or web page that is linked with the Nofollow link.

When the site owner feels that the linked page can create some problem for the overall site they often create the Nofollow links even in the posts. Some use them to stop the spam.

When should you use the Nofollow links in posts?

You may come across certain circumstances wherein attaching a Nofollow tag to the links become quite essential. There are many newly launched websites which contain a huge number of outbound links towards other websites. This often lowers the page rank of that web page and they get limited listing in the search engine results.

Though Google follow the links but they never index them in their result pages. Same is the case with Yahoo which often follows the Nofollow but exclude them from their listing. MSN and Ask are the two search engines that religiously follow the instructions of these links and stay away from them.

There are certain cases where you should not use the Nofollow links. If it is not associated with special cases like plugins, think twice before using the Nofollow links.

You just need a little organization to start whipping out articles like crazy.

Start by giving yourself a strict time limit to choose your subject. Don't agonize over it for hours; just give yourself 1 minute to make a choice.

No a minute is not long compared to the exhaustive research normally done, but we're trying to get you moving here so write down any words you can think of about a subject you know about. Keep writing for a full minute.

A good place to start is with any ideas that you think can solve somebody's problem. Because, let's be honest, that's what sells. People are looking for information to solve problems all day long and when they find it, well, let's just say they're usually in a more receptive state to buy. That's even more true if you offer quality content, which is why for this exercise I suggest you brainstorm something you know about.

Now here's a little trick. Your brain actually loves speed, so type out your ideas as fast as your fingers will allow. Don't try to write a prize-winning novel, just get the ideas down. If some of it doesn't make sense we can deal with it later, so you haven't committed yourself to anything yet.

Ok, we're about done. Just add closing comments if you feel they might be useful and finish off the article. At this point it's not a bad idea to take a short comfort break, have a drink and stretch your legs. Get away from your computer.

When you read through the article this one last time you can still rephrase anything you're not happy with, but generally, consider the article finished.

Do not keep tweaking. Accept less than 100% perfection.

If that offends the 'purists' then I'm sorry, but anyone who tries to make everything 100% will end up making nothing.

If you have a good grammar checker and spell checker by all means run your article through it. Typos are easy to miss sometimes. But don't spend 30 minutes creating an article and 4 hours checking it.

Articles will only start to make you money when they've been released into the world.

A brilliant article that you keep revising makes you nothing. An ok article that you actually submit can make you real money.

Which would you prefer?

30 minutes may not sound like enough time to write an article from scratch, but keep practicing and you should be able to do it any time. In fact, you should get quicker at it.
