New Blog Theme: True Colours

I've been browsing the web to look for a theme that would look nice but different than most blogs out there. After days of searching, I have finally found a theme that I like.

The theme name is True Colours. It's a theme for Geeks and that is why I like it I hope you'll like it as well.

People are not really interested in purchasing stuffs all through out the year. Most of them have an inclination to buy different products during the holidays and festivals. If you have a good mailing list ready with you then try sending the emails to them and let them know about the latest products and good festival discounts if any. If this is a product which is required for official usage then the best time to send the emails is during the week. If this is something that needs to be discussed with the family and required for domestic usage then send promotional mails on Sundays and holidays to get best results.

The best way to make the email marketing campaign successful is to interact with the customers in person. You can track their records or directly ask them about their choice and preferences. Some most important information that might come handy is their budget and requirement. If you know about t heir previous purchase records then you can offer then products which are complementary to the purchased one. You can also ask them if they have interest in knowing about similar products in different budget and then draft the promotional emails accordingly. This will ensure the success of the program.

A New Theme Again – Deadwood Lite

After a day of using the True Colours theme, I found another theme that I think is better than True Colours. The new theme that I'm using is the Deadwood Lite theme by Graph Paper Press.

I feel like this new theme is much better because it has a very pleasant colour combination and text's are now easier to read. Plus, it has a widgetized footer

I hope I won't be changing to other theme(s) anytime soon because I've already done a lot of 'internal code' modifications.

Server Breach

Today at about 8 a.m. when I tried to access this blog, I received 403 forbidden error. And I am pretty sure that others who tried to access the site got the same error.

I called the web host and a representative from the Technical Department told me that there was a server breach and they are in the process of moving everything to a new server. After about 3 hours of waiting, my site was finally transferred to a new server.

What I don't understand is that how could the server be compromised when the server is well equipped with the latest security softwares. Anyways, all my data's are safe now.

I hope that whoever is responsible for the breach will be captured and punished to the greatest extent of the law.
